Insilicos Releases Beta
Seattle, 13 October, 2003: Insilicos today announced that a beta version of Insilicos Viewer, a free viewer for tandem mass spec proteomics data, is now available.
Insilicos Viewer is the first product that allows viewing of an entire complex proteomics experiment, spanning multiple mass spec runs, at one time.
The product is also the first viewer available for mzXML, an emerging XML-based standard for proteomics data. mzXML was developed by the Institute for Systems Biology, in collaboration with Insilicos, Amgen, the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and the University of Washington. In addition to mzXML, Insilicos Viewer also supports ANDI, and TF (RAW) formats.
"We're pleased to make Insilicos Viewer available to the community," said Brian Pratt, Insilicos VP of Development. "This should help speed the adoption of mzXML, and gives us a chance to explore new approaches for visualizing and manipulating these very large experimental data sets."
