Erik Nilsson
President Erik Nilsson
Erik Nilsson leads Insilicos and is responsible for strategic direction.
      A software background spanning two decades includes management, software technology, and sales and marketing.
      Prior to Insilicos, Erik was president of software company GraphiCode, which he sold in 1999 to Mania Technologie AG. Erik then served as a division president for Mania, managing a software development and sales organization spanning three continents. GraphiCode continues to make a strong, profitable contribution to Mania.
      Erik was Director of Sales and Marketing for Solution Logic, where he increased revenues fourfold in six months. Erik’s experience also includes positions at Tektronix and Mitron.
Bryan Prazen
Chief Scientist Bryan Prazen, PhD
Dr. Prazen directs Insilicos' research program and conducts research in the scientific foundations of Insilicos’ business.
      A recognized expert in the field of multidimensional chromatography, Dr. Prazen has specialized in the development of chemometric methods for the analysis of complex samples from biological and environmental systems.
      Bryan has held research positions at the University of Washington and DuPont. He has been a visiting scientist at the YKI Institute for Surface Chemistry in Stockholm, Sweden; and at Chiang Mai University in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Brian Pratt
VP Informatics Brian Pratt
Brian Pratt is responsible for setting technical direction for software, and leads the development team.
      A 20-year software industry veteran, Brian has previously served as VP Engineering for GraphiCode and Senior Developer for WatchGuard Technologies. He holds six issued and two pending biotech patents.
      Brian received a BS in electrical engineering and an MS in engineering with a biomedical device focus, both from the University of Washington.
